＜課題＞
Some people think that travelling is an exciting activity. How have methods of travel changed in past years? How do you think travel will develop in the next few decades?
＜エッセー＞
Every year, the number of travelers is increasing. This travel boom is predicted widespread globally. This essay will discuss the changes in modern travelling that led to the current trend and predict their changes for the future.
Compare with the previous days, modern travels are much easier and faster. The primary contributor is airplanes. In the past, their flight tickets were expensive that only limited rich passengers could take. Nowadays, they are becoming a more common mode of transportation. Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) such as AirAsia and Jetstar, provide significantly cheap tickets. They have flights all over the world, therefore, travelling abroad is not a big event anymore. Furthermore, the current passport includes IC chips. This allows air passengers to pass through automation immigration gates in the airports. These changes created a short flight time with less waiting time at the airport.
Unfortunately, in some countries, automation immigration gates are not working properly. Therefore, this system is still effective at certain countries such as Canada and Japan. In the future, not only I expect that this system will be installed properly across the world but also passports themselves will be no longer needed. This makes air transportation more convenient and increases the number of air travelers.
In conclusion, this essay has explained the changes in travelling and predict future changes. Due to the development of air systems such as cheaper ticket prices and the convenience of passport control encouraged people to travel easily. However, passport systems have still place for improvement. I expect this will be developed appropriately in the future.
