IELTSのテンプレートについて
今回はライティングのテンプレートのご紹介です。
しかし、私はこの記事を書くにあたり一つお伝えしたいことがあります。
IELTSライティングでは、「これができればBAND●●！」という夢のようなものは存在しないということ。
でも、ライティング攻略のためのアプローチならご紹介できますので、今回はそのような記事をまとめました。（自由度の高いソフトテンプレートです。）
私のアプローチは
ライティングの構成を理解し、効果的なフレーズを覚える手法です。
なぜ、この手法をオススメするのかと言いますと・・・
私もテンプレート地獄で散々苦労した経験があるからです。
だからこそ、エッセーの基本をしっかり理解した上で、正しいフレーズを使って欲しいと思っています。
＊注意：今回ご紹介するのは、IELTSライティングBand 6.0~6.5を目指している人向けです。
ライティングの基本
ライティングの基本的な構造は、ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、次の３つですね。
①Introduction
②Body
③Conclusion
それでは、今日はIntroductionに何を書くのか？考えていきましょう。
Introductionの基本
Point1：2〜３文でまとめる
Point2：１〜２文目は課題のパラフレーズ
Point3：３文目はThesis Statementです。
＊Thesis Statement とは？
Thesis Statement はこのエッセーではなにを書いているのか？自分の意見は？という文章を書きます。
基本的にIntroductionの最後に書きましょう。
では、実際に模範解答を読んで、確認していきましょう！
課題
Some people believe that (1)being involved in a sports club at school (2)takes valuable time away from studies.
Others feel that a student (3)can learn many important lessons from participating in sports.
Discuss both of these views and give your opinion.

私の解答（例）
In some schools, students are encouraged (1)to participate in sports clubs after school.
While some think these sports activities are beneficial for students as (3)they can learn essential skills such as co-operation skills, others believe that students may (2)have insufficient time to study if they attend sports clubs.
Personally, I agree with the latter statement because the education period is a limited time of life.
＊緑のフレーズ：課題文の文章のパラフレーズ / 番号はパラフレーズしたフレーズに対応しています。
＊パラフレーズの表現は、色々あるので、同じフレーズを何通りの言い方で表現できるかチャレンジしてみるのも、いい勉強になりますよ〜。
効果的なフレーズ
In some schools, students are encouraged to participate in sports clubs after school.
(1)While some think these sports activities are beneficial for students as they can learn essential skills (2)such as co-operation skills, others believe that students may have insufficient time to study if they attend sports clubs.
(3)Personally, I agree with the latter statement because the education period is a limited time of life.

②具体例が必要なもの
Such as〜
＊essential skills のように、どんなことか明確ではない表現を使う時は、Such as ~のような例を述べる表現を使って、詳しい例１つでも、２つでも書きましょう。
＊Such as に代わるフレーズ
For instance / For example /Like / Unlike
Unlikeを使う時は、対照的な例を用いるので、少し注意しましょう。
③自分の意見を書くとき
Personally 〜I agree with 〜
＊自分の意見を述べるタイプのエッセーの場合、Thesis Statementに必ず、自分の立場はどちらか？ということを加えます。
＊自分の意見を述べるタイプのエッセー：To what extend do you agree or disagree? / Do you agree or disagree? / What is your opinion?のフレーズが含まれています。
＊Personally に代わるフレーズ
In my opinion / In my view / From my perspective
＊これらを使う場合は、I agree with を接続せず、
In my opinion, the latter statement is 〜
と書いてもいいでしょう。
④おまけ
latter statement (後者）former statement (前者）というフレーズはよく使えます。
